Young Rob drops R&B flavours with ‘Freakiana’

In Other by Nick Russell

‘Freakiana’ is the first single of 2022 from West London’s Young Rob, and it’s oozing with that dancefloor vibe! An anthem for all the self-proclaimed freaks, ‘Freakiana’ is Young Rob’s gift to party aficionados far and wide. It’s a catchy, uptempo R&B song that projects the London star’s desire for women in poetry that is unapologetically explicit. Young Rob teamed up with Florida artist/producer NitroGetLive for this fiery new track, and his hard hitting guest vocals are the perfect assist to Young Rob’s casanova persona that shines bright!

Hailing from West London, Young Rob is a multi-genre recording artist. At a young age, hanging out with older peers Rob got introduced to west coast hip-hop and developed an interest in music. He grew up listening to a soundtrack of 2pac, Westside Connection, The Hot Boyz, and The Lost Boyz. In 2015 while working on his debut EP, Rob released his first afro-beat song ‘Ghana Baby’. The song, produced by Yann Gabriel which features French R&B artist Nabo, received a lot of media support in Ghana. Rob has since then released two EPs as well as numerous singles. With his flair for creating catchy hooks that demands the listeners attention, Young Rob brings that refreshing and feel good vibe.
