Video: Nas – No Bad Energy

In Hip Hop by James Wijesinghe

Picked up from the cutting room floor of his early studio sessions, ‘No Bad Energy’ is the opening track of Nas‘ recent album, The Lost Tapes II. It is a compilation album that forms a sequel to his 2002 release. The song features atmospheric production from Swizz Beats and AraabMuzik, letting the veteran’s lyrics do the talking. Vincent Lou directed the tune’s video, which sees the rapper perched on a white grand piano and looking out from a mansion’s balcony. The album is out via Mass Appeal/Def Jam, and check out the video below!
