Philadelphias man-of-the-hour Meek Mill has finally released his highly anticipated debut Dreams And Nightmares “A lot of people have been shying away from the real rapping and hip-hop,” said Meek on the motivation behind his first record.  “I want to have a classic album, an Illmatic, [Vol.2…] Hard Knock Life, Get Rich or Die Tryin’ type, a hip-hop album.”

Dreams And Nightmares also features appearances from Rick Ross, Wale, Nas, John Legend, Mary J. Blige and more.  Production on the 14-track album come from Jahlil Beats, Boi-1da, Key Wane, and Kane Beatz amongst others.

Check out this dope video biography of his life, which includes vintage footage of him rapping, talking about how his father was killed in a burglary, how much it sucked, being in jail, nearly signing with TI or 50 Cent, and how his deal with Maybach Music Group fell into place just last year.
