Video: Essa (FKA Yungun) drops ‘Justice’ calling out systemic racism, police brutality & injustice

In Hip Hop by Nick Russell

The veteran UK rapper Essa made a big impact in the early-mid 2000s under the name Yungun and dropped the classic 2004 album ‘The Essence’ as well as several other timeless hip hop. He’s dropped plenty more dope music since then, and recently dropped  a new single out called ‘Justice’ which was written in the days following George Floyd’s murder. The song addresses issues of systemic racism, police brutality and inherent injustice. All proceeds go to charities that improve access to justice for black and ethnic minority people.
