Video: Antix – Breathless

After the release of his successful debut album “Flammable Grammar” in 2010, Antix continues his with a new track ‘Breathless’, a clever mash-up of Hip-Hop, Dubstep and Drum and Bass, with elements of classical styles also – giving the track a real genuine feel of UK originality, something a lot of artists from the UK lack. Earlier this year, “Bad Dreams” entered Music Weeks’ Urban chart in the top ten and “Breathless” looks set to become another hit for the London artist.

The video contains Antix in an area of underground London with a range of people from very different backgrounds. This combined with a mash-up of several musical arrangements, gives the track an almost “genre-less” feel. And it’s not difficult to see that Antix has the aim of capturing a wide audience. With some clever flows reminding me of a young Skinnyman. A powerful vocal chorus and strong production, Antix is one to watch.
