The great thing about being a conscious human being is that we all have the power to make choices – what to wear, when to eat lunch, what time to wake up and how we exercise our talents – that’s supposed to be how it goes anyway, right?! Wrong.

Cult American ‘gonzo’ journalist and author of ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ Hunter S Thompson famously was quoted as saying “I have a theory that the truth is never told during the nine-to-five hours”.

And right he was…. The 9 to 5 lifestyle is something we all have a love hate relationship with – we love the fact that we have a secure income, with a place to work between Monday and Friday, going to bed in the knowledge that our bills will be paid. But most of us are not fortunate to be in a position where we relish being in the same place for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week! What if there was another way? What if we could get out this ‘cage’ we call the office and set ourselves free – become our own boss – working when we want and how we want! In other words having the self belief to #UNCAGE.

Tiger Beer is currently showcasing those who have uncaged themselves, and having the courage to pursue their passion!

From a former Thai office worker who is now a fully fledged stuntman, to a Hong Kong based female tattoo artist who broke away from her local communities expectations of what a girl is ‘supposed to do’.

Do you identify with this spark of independence? If so Tiger want you to upload your own interpretation of what it means to #cage and #uncage – upload your photos to the Tiger Uncage Site here.

Here’s my entry – since not working in an office it means not wearing office clothes, and instead pair of trainers and snap-back is the daily swag!

Check out their video with more information, below, and let us know what it means to #cage and #uncage
