Review: Round up of dope songs found online w/c Feb 7th

In Hip Hop, Other by Nick Russell

Here’s our weekly round up of a few really stand out songs we’ve heard over the past seven days. More hip hop oriented but also expect a few electronic/dubstep and R&B/soul songs! Expect a good range, and if you want to be considered for this segment, submit your music to us here.

Elliot Bless – You

A real nice sentiment behind this track which showcases the rapper’s flow pattern that fit well with the wavey production. An honest tone of voice and heart felt delivery tops this off.

Jeremy Remond feat Annie Miller – Lord Help

Soulfully smooth and lyrically dope, this track has a real authentic feel to it. Tight flow patterns and really interesting production techniques make this one that is a feel good head nodder.

Minneapolis, Minnesota singer really knows how to use her voice. On this track, the production is soulful and professionally made with a good message behind the vocals which bring an emotive subject matter.

ReauBeau – Freedom

The Dutch producer delivers a really powerful song. We love the emotion and hi definition sounds that he’s brought, and it has an original sound which is complimented by the hefty bass!

Dead Hippie – Goofy

If you love that dark, horror-core vibe with graphic lyrics and a moody piece of production, this one is for you! The emcee’s flow pattern weaves in and out of the beat, which is complimented by his vocal delivery style.

Rocdwell x TNV  – Blessed

A dope feel good hip hop record, which has some great sample based boom-bap production. The emcee delivers a range of uplifting and powerful lyrics, which are backed up in the tones in the beat!
