Review: Converse ‘Cons’ official opening party 29th May @ Copeland Gallery, Peckham

Converse – An invite only event where only the lucky few who applied and were accepted were able to witness intimate performances. From Pusha T, Krept & Konan, and a DJ set from Rustie and Scratcha DVA. The Event was held in the Copeland Gallery, Peckham, the heart and creative centre of South London.

Headline act Pusha T definitely stole the show performing hits like ‘Mercy’ and his verse on Cheif Keef’s Chi city banger ‘I Don’t Like’. He also contributed MNIMN album tracks ‘Sweet Serenade’, ‘Numbers on the Boards’ and ‘Millions’ playing to a not always attentive industry crowd, nonetheless his energy levels and attempts to get the crowd involved were commendable in a thoroughly enjoyable evening in South London.
