Review: Caribou – Our Love

Following his 2010 release ‘Swim’, Caribou’s Dan Snaith has fallen deeper in love with the word we all know and love; thus bringing you the brand new dance-enhanced album release from our favourite Canadian musical genius.

Snaith’s latest work sees diversity at it’s best, with a cool blend of house, hip-hop, garage and a touch of vintage soul. Released 6th October, Caribou completely flips a slow sample of soul into a vocal that subtly blends into rave-ready synths with his opening track ‘Can’t Do Without You’.

Further into the album you can expect more of Snaith’s creativity, providing us with enough hip-hop samples and intricate drum patterns to secure a place within the successful electronic releases of 2014.
