Music Potential Returns for 2015 with Tim Westwood and Raleigh Ritchie
Returning for the forth year, the Capital Xtra’s youth empowerment programme is set to help out workshops. One-to-one mentoring sessions and work placements, providing a leg-up to get their foot into the music biz.
Specifically aimed at people aged 16-25 who are not in employment, education or training. This is a chance for tomorrow’s music industry leaders to expand their knowledge. In areas such as music production, radio production, songwriting and performance.
One of this year’s ambassadors, the legendary radio host and DJ, Tim Westwood said “It’s fantastic to be working with the youngsters who are taking part in Music Potential this year. This programme gives young people who need a helping hand the chance to get into the music industry.”
This year will be rounded off with a show on Wednesday 16 September, at KOKO in Camden, with performances from the programme’s ambassadors as well as Music Potential participants and special guests!
