Melody Gad drops new dancehall single ‘Tropical’

Internationally acclaimed dancehall reggae artist Melody Gad delivers authentic island energy which oozing with summer vibes on his new single ‘Tropical’. Recalling the recording session, Melody Gad says there was nothing but good vibes in the studio, and the song flowed organically as soon as they heard the rhythm. Uplifting, rhythmic and melodic, ‘Tropical’ is here to put you in a summer state of mind!

On the hook, he’s describing how he wants the girls to “whine up ya waist pon’ me” which is a great way to set the tone of the whole song. With a tropical soundscape throughout, it’s easy to see how the song was named! Born in New York and raised in Jamaica, he’s thesong of a Welsh DJ! His father’s Welsh background has given him a special connection with the UK, having his first interview and live performance in Bristol with Dancehall Dance group Supreme Team. Melody Gad was covered in the ‘Jamaica Star’ in December of 2015 which led to supporting artists such as I-Octane, Mavado, Spice, Jada Kingdom and Serani to name a few. Growing up to a soundtrack of Reggae, Dancehall, Reggaeton and Hip-Hop, Melody Gad fuses these influences together to create something that is both forward-thinking and authentically his own! Melody Gad is no longer going to be ‘Dreamin’ about achieving; he is signed with Gibbz Variety Movements, LLC and now he’s going to bring the vibes with his sweet melodies and versatility.
