Live Review: Bass Culture Clash @ The Roundhouse Camden – May 3

Bass Culture definitely had a raucous fiesta over our May Bank Holiday as ‘the transatlantic bass showcase’ took a welcome return journey to Camden’s Roundhouse!

Weaving South America with the humble UK, there were without doubt many different musical flavours under one roof! Opening with certified Brazilian dub pioneers Ministereo Público – they set the tone just right… leading to the  UK’s  JUS NOW- West Indian influence.

Soraia Drummond (BRAZIL) had such insurmountable energy, getting everyone on their feet. The crowd was so at ease in her presence, even her dancing within the crowd at every song!

Finally headliner Little Simz certainly did not disappoint! Joined with her most definitely out-there but in a good way collective SpaceAge, she gave a stellar performance of her otherworldly four tracks.

Latest release Enter The Void via Noisey is available here.
