footsteps, bad breed

Footsteps and Big Zeeks collab for ‘Bad Breed’, showcasing the unity of African and Caribbeans in London

In Afrobeats, Hip Hop, Reggae & Dancehall by Nick Russell

A new track from producer, engineer and artist Footsteps who has collaborated with an artist we support heavily on BB, Big Zeeks aka ‘The Fresh Prince Of Harlesden’. Their track ‘Bad Breed’ is a celebration of the African-Caribbean influence on London, as Footsteps slides between slang and Yoruba  (A Nigerian language) along with Big Zeeks’ dancehall sound and patois lyrics. The two combined create a captivating fusion!

Footsteps explains how this song “showcases the unity of Africa and the Caribbean in life, spirit and overall culture. The only thing that separates us is the ocean”
