Review: FRSHRZ – FRSHRZ EP

In Hip Hop by Harry Fox

New FRSHRZ EP

FRSHRZ are a group of three dope underground emcees who live by the motto “FRSHRZ is a movement. A title with no vowels and a reflection of London life”. Consisting of Artcha (former member of The MOBO unsigned finalists ONE Crew with Sway), Dray Delta (former member of Boyz inda Hood with Crazy Titch and Durrty Goodz) and Skandouz (former member of the ground breaking live Hip Hop band 29).

The project contains guest appearances from the UK  pioneer Rodney P, Keesha Simpson and producer/emcee Nutty P who has worked with the likes of Professor Green and Wretch 32. They come together to bring us their newest self-titled EP, which follows up from their two previous projects Summer Invasion and Summer Invasion 2

The single “BLXCK PRIDE ft. Keesha Simpson” gave all proceeds to the Sickle Cell Society Charity, proving the rappers are something different. Far from just ticking your usual hip-hop checklist: girls, wealth and possessions, this EP is a voice for those without a voice in the heart of London, tackling modern-day issues such as racism, love and knife crimes.

Complimented flawlessly by the raw and energetic instrumentals, this EP portrays the growth and experience of this group and provides you with innovative lyrical bars you will come away remembering, and are poised to go on to bigger things, so join them for the ride by checking out the EP and the groups’ social medias below.
