CASISDEAD – Hoe Freestyle

Tottenham’s favourite masked emcee CASISDEAD has long been regarded as one of the most creatively shocking emcees on the UK circuit. With vulgar masterpieces such as “Drugs Don’t Work” which aptly samples The Verve’‘s classic track and “Charlotte” (NSFW but be sure to watch it the entire way through). CAS recently been going fully in with a string of releases after a short hiatus.

The latest installment works as piece of Grime nostalgia, with CAS tackling Dizzee Rascal‘s classic “HOE” instrumental for a very fresh freestyle. Coming through with bars such as “Pull up outside your apartment / Drug dealing is my department / Heat from the feds, I’m flame retardent / Some call me the devil incarnate / pure cocaine and bicarbonate”. CAS is one of the most dangerously ingenious lyricists in not only London, but the whole of the UK. (Listen out for CAS flipping Dizzee’s “Stop Dat” flow half way through the song).
