Brooklyn’s Rashard The Great drops ‘They Don’t Want To See This’ EP

In Hip Hop by Nick Russell

One of the rising stars of the evergreen Brooklyn rap scene, Rashard The Great drops his new project They Don’t Want To See This’, which was inspired by a sense of new growth. With some life changing moments like seeing his son grow up and the passing of Nipsey Hussle, Rashard decided to re-evaluate how he approaches his music making process. The 6 track EP was an in house job, and he not only wrote but recorded and produced the project in his home studio, as the first release from Rashard The Great’s new production company Bulletproof Dreams.
Inspired by the greats such as 2pac and Jay Z, Rashard The Great started rapping aged just thirteen! Wanting to be a singer and a dancer as a child, Rashard The Great has always given his all in the pursuit of his creativity, using musical expression as a coping mechanism in the face of adversity.
