Album Review: Smellington Piff — No Fixed Abode

In Hip Hop by Mxrtlxck

Smellington Piff is back with his new album ‘No Fixed Abode’, packed full of the raw heavy underground grittyness we know to expect from a Real Life Drama Records release. Everything about this album is sick from the artwork to the beat selection, lyrics and some dope featuring verses from the likes of Nottingham legend Scorzayzee, Taskforce don Farma G, plus High Focus records talent Leaf Dog and Cracker Jon.

This album is pure fire and on course to be 2018’s UK Hip Hop album of the year with tracks like ‘NFA’ (above), ‘Benefit Babies,’ and ‘Rap Junkies’ all underground anthems alongside the rest of the track listing. With the standard dose of realness that Smellington Piff is well known for, this album stays true to his style with his flow and presence on point for each and every bar delivered.

Ratings on this album are mad its obviously a full score of 5 out of 5 and with the limited edition casettes and vinyl releases, which with the design work are selling points themselves, make sure you go cop your pre-order from Real Life Drama Records shop or Bandcamp!

Smellington Piff’s ‘No Fixed Abode’ releases 28/03/18.
