Album: Onoe Caponoe – Invisible War

In Grime, Hip Hop by James Wijesinghe

Onoe Caponoe‘s Invisible War is a bad trip with breakneck bars. His psychedelic punk rap comes from a dimension not too far from his last 11 years of releases, with plenty of nods towards trap, horrorcore and UK rap. The album is 17 songs strong and floats from gritty spitting to dream-state serenades. High Focus prove once again that they’re not just about boombap beats, although there are a couple of jazzy gems on this LP. Cop Invisible War on digital, vinyl, CD and tape today – or stream below the vid. Also catch Onoe Caponoe amidst his Midnight Starship tour!
